UI and UX design are modern terms that dominate the design world right now. Digital experiences are the most spoken about and that is the reason we are now not customers/readers/viewers but users. And that’s why people focus on user interface design as well as user experience design as the main go to phrases depicting trends in journeys we experience every day. And then of course there is the pandemic, that moved us forward a good decade and brought a vast array of online experiences to the forth, introduced remote working, much more common online scheduling, video conferencing and a massive amounts of chats.

With that in mind, reading a book is refreshing, but it also brings to mind a thought that interactivity didn’t start with an invention of a smart phone or world wide web. Design in general has a strong influence on human behaviour with a good design often going unnoticed and bad design creating a really strong negative reaction.
