Celebrating Craft

Exhibition by the British most prestigious grocery store celebrated wonderful skills of craftsmen in the UK and abroad. Unique objects traditionally hand crafted, detailed embellished ranged from painted ceramics, through embroided emblems to handcrafted glasswork. Teapots to Tapestries put the knowledge of the anonymous makers to the forth, through the objects they created.

Idea development

Beautiful items that are featured in the exhibition, are celebration of craft and beauty in themselves. The items are made with care, attention to detail, using knowledge often passed on from one generation to another. Hand-crafted, cared for before reaching Fortnum & Mason stores.

Focusing on the details, beautiful lit, studio photography, was a natural way to proceed with this project. Strong, elegant compositions accent the beauty of crafted objects.
